ऊब रहा अपनी गलियों से, हृदय डूब रहा सपनों में
तुझे है प्रतीक्षा चमकती राहों में चलने की

मुग्ध हो रहा मय में, मन मोहती मादक शाम
तुझे है प्रतीक्षा धधकते सूरज के ढलने की

नम नयनों में छलने की, बंद बाहों में जलने की
तुझे है प्रतीक्षा पिघलते होंठों पे पिघलने की

जाग!
कब तक भटकेगा मरुथल में प्यासे मृग की भांति
तुझे है प्रतीक्षा फैलती अभिलाशाओं के फलने की!

ये कामनायें कब मिटती हैं, ये चीर द्रौपदी का
प्रतीक्षा कर ओ मनुश्य स्वयँ के सँभलने की

    Kaafi sundar likha hai tumne… har kavita ke saath usme samaaya saar/arth badhta jaa raha hai jo ki is kavita ki sabse badee uplabdhee hai…

    @Ankit: dhanyawaad.. koshish rahegi ki aane waali kavitayein bhi is kasauti par khari utrein.

    @Rachit: bhaiya ‘mrig’ mein nahi, “tu” hai.. kavita has been addressed to the reader ;-)

    hey slightly off topic…but i loved the musical widget u added ur your blog/site…now users can listen to some great quality songs while reading ur posts….btw, i clicked the ‘home’ icon on the widget and it said that u should grap the latest version of the widget to add ur playlists…so thought should let u know…would love to listen to ur taste of songs as well :) apart from the top songs…keep it up…cheers!

    @Anonymous: For now, I can’t use the Dhingana widget here since it requires at least 200 pixels, which my current theme does not allow. If Dhingana folks relealse a 120 or lower pixel version in the future, it will be back again here!

    @Jon: I don’t think there is any software yet to convert Hindi poems into English *poems*. Seems like a good open problem to work ;-)
